The Pillar of the Kiss, on the traditional site of the 'Kiss' on the Mount of Olives. The disciples fell asleep while Jesus was praying. He awakened them and requested:
"Watch and pray, lest ye enter into temptation" (Mark XIV). But they fell asleep
again. Mark relates that after Jesus had awakened them for the third time, the
messengers of the High Priest and the Elders of the People came, accompanied by Judas Iscariot. Judas Iscariot went over to Jesus and kissed him on the forehead to identify him.
